Tether? Mac

I can't get this to tether with Mac I have the phone talking but my macs not listening. VZW software doesn't even recognize my phone. Anyone else having the same issue.

I'd like to know this too, I also have a Mac. In the manual it describes how to tether with PCs and that you must first load the HTC Sync software on the PC to use the tether option. And of course HTC Sync does not work on Macs. So does that mean we Mac users are SOL?

I've heard that the "official" tethering part of the OS on the incredible doesn't actually work at all. Take that witha grain of salt though; I don't remember where I read it.

What you can do is install PDAnet, which works great with Mac. I've tested it, and it works like a charm. Instructions are here:

Yeah PdaNet has been around forever through different devices and O/S's both from the phone and computer stand point. I used tetherberry previously with my BB's, but a friend of mine turned me on to this, and I must say it's just as good as tetherberry or even better since you don't have to install any special software on your computer! (Windows anyways)

G4 PowerPC

So a friend of mine has an older Mac.. PowerPC flavor and she wants to tether her Incredible to it. Can this be done? if so, what is the best method? I tried this way, but the adb software just says "bad CPU in executable" because of the non-Intel chip.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
