tether phone to tablet

hello there again was just wondering (again) if I can tether my blu life one xl to my galaxy tab s with a micro to micro USB cable so I don't have to use the hotspot. it works for my laptop

Doesn't work that way unfortunately, do you not have the ability to make a WiFi hotspot and connect wirelessly?

yeah I do but I wanted to know if I could do it that way so I could save battery power and some data isn't a direct Physical link better than using the hotspot. my g tab s is wifi and like I said it works with the laptop and could there be some kind of app that might be able to get the tablet to do it with a USB cable connection
