I've had this problem for a while now and been unable to find anyone else with it so I am hoping mindhive of AC will be able to help out.
I'm pretty sure it has been since I made the switch to CM7 that my wireless tethering hasn't worked with my Honeycomb tablet. It started with the Xoom but when I converted to the Transformer I've encountered the same problem. The tablet will see the hotspot...Try to connect...But never get an IP address. It has only been with Honeycomb that I have encountered this problem. My CR-48 hasn't had the problem nor has any Windows machine. I've tried the built-in tethering...Wi-Fi Tether...And Wireless Tether. Same problem for each. I feel like I've tried every combination of settings both on the EVO and the tablet.
Am I an isolated problem? Anyone else seen anything similar to this? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
