tethering app?

I have unlimited data with Verizon before moving to the mini I had an app that I could share the data with a free app. Since the phone automatically updated to 4.4 I can't use the app anymore. Anyone know of an app that will do the same thing with 4.4?

You're going to need root access for any apps that enable tethering (FoxFi for example)

Thanks, I'm pretty weak with technology. I've heard of rooting but I wouldn't know how to do it. Is it possible to reset the phone to the OS it had when we bought it?

Unfortunately, that's not possible. Knox prevents firmware downgrades
