I went through the process of rooting my phone a while back and installing the Tethering for Root Users app in preparation for the iPad launch. I tested it out on both Windows and Mac laptops several weeks ago and they connected fine. Once I got my iPad, I tried to connect and for some reason, can't seem to get connected. I have encryption, a 10base IP Lan setting, and no Access Control. I am getting a 169 IP on the iPad and not even registering on my MyTouch. I am posting in both Android and Apple forums as I am not sure which is at fault.
