Tethering on Nexus 4G

The cost of the infrastructure to bring us "instant" gratification comes at a price, and much higher than what many people realize. Unfortunately everyone want "free" access, but the money to support the explosion of High Speed wireless internet access has to come from somewhere.

If one out of every 6 people used someone else's bandwidth, there'd be no cash available to continue building out "4G" Networks, and there'd be no more unlimited bandwidth simply because the carriers couldn't afford i.

I think it's completely fair to charge for additional tethered connections.

David...

I agree that it is fair for the carrier, in this case Sprint, to charge for tethering. However, for me personally, $30 is a bit steep for the occasional times I would use it.
