Tethering question

What is anyone using for a good working tethering app? I have WiFi Tether Root and everything is setup and appears to be working great, but the SSID is not visible and you can't manually connect to it either. Any help to get it working or suggestions for a different app would be great!

Are you on a Sprint Jellybean GS3? If so, you'll need to use the modified version of WiFi Tether. Sprint seems to have broken everything else:

Yes I am. I will uninstall the other and install this.


EDIT: With a little playing around I got it to work! THANKS!!!

What exactly did you do to make it work? I've tried everything and it will not connect and stay connected.

Some kernels have fixed the issue on the native tethering app.

I have to enable access control and use a passphrase for it to work correctly. I like it better that way anyhow..
