Text changed from white to gray on homepage

I have no idea what would have caused this. It was fine earlier today. The last two apps I had open were YouTube TV and Temple Run 2. A reboot didn't change it back. The only theme I have applied is system wide dark mode.

Can anyone enlighten me?

I disabled it to test. Just now, however, when my wallpaper was changed, it went back to normal. I wonder if my wallpaper randomizer could be causing it. I've used this app for years with no problems.

Samsung's own Night Mode from the settings.

If it's a 3rd party theme, a lot of those aren't updated for Pie yet. Stick with official themes from Samsung themselves.

I would think a randomizer could be responsible for all kinds of changes.

Maybe they made a change in pie update, but that's way it should work to be able to adjust for legibility .

If you highlight the text and then click on the underlined "A" you should be able to change the color there. .... I have the same problem changing text color.
