Text deleting while using S Pen

When using the S-Pen to write out text in an email, texting or other; if I accidentally bump the button on the S-Pen, the S-Pen menu opens and I lose everything that I have written. Is this something every one is experiencing? Is there any settings to stop this?

I've done this although I don't loose the work I'v started. I've just learned where to place my fingers. Learning curve.
