Android Central Question

What if you made an email with fake personal information to create a textfree account with a fake name and after sending messages to your friends, and then deleting your account, and using free public wifi sources, could your messages be traced back to you?

Could some people like law enforcement somehow find the owner of the phone or samsung/sprint account for example, that sent these messages, through these apps?

It would largely depend on how much info about the phone is being recorded at the WIFI server and the app servers.

The IP address of the wifi network connection will be temporary and limited to that wifi connection and automatically recycled to another device when you leave. Logs may be automatically kept.

The app could be sending identifying info to the service servers.

The creation of the email account can require data to ID your phone.

Logging of the phone number, IMEI number, or the MAC address would be the question.

To give detailed answers, we would need details about the wifi connection and email account creation and text account creation.
