Text message alert while on call

Is there anyway to turn off the audible noise for a text when on a phone call? I'd like to have it just vibrate or even do a different noise when on call if possible as well. The one I have now is very annoying during a call.

There is an option under notifications if you are using Handcent... it's a great text messaging app... by default the notification when on a phone call is off in Handcent.

So the only way to fix this is download Handsent?

If you can't find something in the apps settings, then yes... 3rd party apps usually provide more options... and Handcent is Free.
