Text Message Help (Not Receiving?)

I previously owned an iPhone and was on Verizon's network. I switched to Xfinity Mobile, and with it purchased an LG X Charge. I ported my number over from Verizon. The problem I've run into is that I cannot receive messages from two of my contacts (two that I know of, at least). I can send them messages, and they receive them, but I do not receive their responses. It seems that I can receive messages from people who are on Verizon (as I am receiving messages from most of my contacts, and these two particular contacts are not on Verizon). My guess is that this is an intercarrier messaging issue, but I am unsure how to fix it?

If your friends are using iPhones, make sure they go into their contact list and mark your entry as "not iPhone" or whatever the phrasing is (blue vs green).
