Text Message Limit?

I didn't have this issue before, but now the text message limit is automatically set at 200. It will only let me go up to 1000. How can I make this unlimited?

CDMA doesn't let you do unlimited. I think it's actually supposed to be 120 characters (or maybe 140). VZW will split your messages at that point. If you have more than 100 characters that you need to send in one message, maybe an E-mail would be a better venue?

I meant that it will only store up to 1,000 text messages per conversation. Before, it was unlimited.
