My sister was sending me a picture text message but for some reason it does not allow me to save the photo. When I click on the photo, it just plays with the forward button and pause, thanks!

Long press on the picture and see what happens. (that's press and hold if you're not familiar with the lingo.)

If that doesn't work, what always works for me is long pressing on the message, but not the picture itself. Just long press the area next to the picture.
