Text messages and no contacts?

Every time I receive a text message, instead of telling me the contact who sent the message, either in the task bar or on the lock screen, I just get the title "Message Received". I'm not sure how to change this or IF it can be changed, I'm using the Samsung Galaxy S4 on Verizon. Thanks in advance!

Go to messaging then settings. In there, there's an option for preview message. Make sure it's checked. Enjoy your new toy!
