Text messages not sending properly??

[AC Question]

I have a samsung galaxy s5 and I've had it for about a year with no issues. But for the past couple days my text mesages either send really really slow or the loading circle continues to spin until it tells me that the text failed to send. And it's not my connection or a problem with my phone Company. I have tried restarting my phone and taking out the battery along with my sim card but nothing has worked..
