Text messages stay "Pending"

Hi all,

For some reason every time I try to send a text message, the status just stays at "Pending" - it doesn't send the message, nor does it give me a message failed error. I'm not using any third-party text message apps, I tried restarting it, and I cleared the cache/data for the default Messaging application and they still say "Pending".

Anyone have any ideas?

Is this using the regular messaging app or a third party one?

Sent using my Verizon Turbo charged 64GB Ballistic Nylon phone unfortunately with a case on back

OH I am so glad I'm not the only one been driving me crazy since yesterday.. I brought all my tiny screwdrivers in to work today to try to tighten them all down to see if that makes a difference because I noticed my GPS is taking longer to lock onto me as well. Tightening them fixed the GPS problem a few months ago. This so frustrating, I'm lost without the ability to text!

Edit: I had been using GoSMS but then went back to the stock messaging app and it is still happening.

What is your cellular signal like - how many bars?
When did it work last?
Are you able to make/receive phone calls ok?

You may want to contact your carrier to have them check your provisioning.

Update: I discovered that I can send MMS just fine, wifi on or off. My problem is SMS. They won't go at all. Any ideas? Biggains have you been able to fix your issue? Did you call the carrier?
