So, for a while now, I've been having issues with text messaging. Basically, it started off with multiple texts being sent, and all times of the day and night. Most were back to back to back being sent. Sometimes a few hours later, and a few times the next day. Now, on top of that, I can't even send pictures. The receiver says they're either getting nothing, or if they do get something, it's all code, just jibberish. Once in a blue moon though, one pic will get through. And also, with the stock text messaging app works okay, as far as notifications. But any other program, Handcent, Chomp, etc., the led never flashes, and half the time they never even sound or show the icon notification.
I know it's not the phone, because I've warrantied it a few times, for this issue and others, coming from an X to the X2. So, i'm assuming it's a problem with Verizon, but every time I've talked with them, they deny any problems and want to send me another phone. That's getting old, and it's obviously not the phone.
The phone is stock 2.3.4, never rooted or anything. And the problem happens whether I have full signal or not. Happens all the time. I've tried pulling the battery, restarts, updating the roaming status, everything.
Any ideas?
