Hi all, I'm not sure if anyone has the same issue but for some reason, no matter what messaging app I use on my V20, some of my text messages disappear. I will receive messages and it'll show up in the 2nd screen and in my notification panel. But when I open up the message thread, the text I received will disappear!! As if the sender never sent anything! Is anyone else having this issue? If so, what did you do to fix it? Thanks in advance!!

I use the Message+ app on Verizon and have no problems. What are you using and with which carrier?

Wow. That's an odd issue. I havent seen it personally.

Thank you for the replies! Yeah, I'm not sure what's causing it. This is the first time I've experienced this. I'm on AT&T. I've tried the LG stock messaging app as well as Textra and Chomp SMS. The issue exists with all those apps.

I had some weird MMS issues on ATT(pictures getting corrupted, not getting some messages). I turned off advanced messaging and all my issues went away.

I also have AT&T and have zero issues with texting. The spell checker sometimes pisses me off but that's it.....:)

Thank you all for the advice and input! I've cleared the internal storage cache, did the Smart cleaning and will be disabling Advanced Messaging. I will check back with how everything goes! Thanks again!

Same here.... AT&T said that advanced messaging had some glitches they were trying to resolve. No timetable was ever given. Since my wife and I switched, no issues with us either.

Good to know. I just checked my settings and my "Advanced Messaging" setting was turned off. I'll just keep it off for now then. If I had noticed it before seeing this thread, I'd probably have turned it on. Lol

You don't have two messaging apps on the phone do you? That may cause an issue.
