My wife just "upgraded" to a LG Phoenix 5 phone. She has been unable to find out how to get a flashing notification of a text or missed phone call. The AT&T rep told her the phone must not have that ability. I find that hard to believe in today's text crazy world.

Any suggestions?
Is there an app that she can download to serve this purpose?

Are you talking about an LED notification light? Many newer phones have gotten rid of that, instead opting for an ambient "always-on" display feature.

I can't find any definitive information, but the Phoenix 4 didn't have one either, so it's most likely that's the case with the 5: https://forums.att.com/conversation...f6067796fb?commentId=5df02437bad5f2f606801400

You can use the camera LED flash as the notification light in the Accessibility menu: www.att.com/device-support/article/wireless/KM1385557/LG/LGLMK300AM/

yes, I was asking about the LED notification light
We found the camera flash, but just thought it silly not to have the LED flashing light.

What about an app for this?
anything available?

I don't know what Android version you're on, but I'm on an LG phone running Android 9 and in the "Notifications" setting, there is an option for "Brief Notifications" which light up part of the screen when the screen is off.

Not all apps support this, but if you have this option, you can take a look and see if it does anything.
