Text notification sound not playing entirely

Just noticed that after update from yesterday, my phone is not playing the entire notification sound for certain people. I unchecked the automatic delete option and now it works again. Maybe this will help others.

Same here, but it only happens when my Bluetooth headset is connected. It's not a huge deal but it definitely turns some heads. People always ask, "What's wrong with your phone?"

messaging - menu button - settings - under storage settings - uncheck delete old messages
