Can someone please help been searching all night. My ringtone volume at its lowest is fine but my text notification tone is super loud on its lowest setting

Lol, my wife has been saying the same thing to me with my new note 20u.

I didnt have this issue with my note 9. It happens even when I use the same tone for both

You could always check out Zedge - a third-party app that has free ringtones, notification tones, wallpapers, and the like. They have a plethora of sounds available - maybe a quieter or shorter notification tone would do the trick?

Same here , had three note 20 ultras all the same. Keyboard clicks are especially loud no matter what adjustments are made as well.

Crazy to have that long of a slider and such loudness on the very lowest setting. Really annoyed with how many little software concessions I keep having to make to like this note 20u vs a pixel 5... Bleh... Weirdest smartphone decision ever: hardware vs software when I want both.
