Text notifications

Well today my text stopped making any sound. Not sure why but Facebook does the same thing. Vibrations work just not sounds.

Change the sound and nothing. Not sure what's up. Suggestions

you changed the notification tone?
try to uninstall FB and reinstall
go into the notification sounds and run the volume down, then back up

Did all that it's only text and Facebook. Totally unrelated programs so not sure.

ok how about changing the settings from within facebook itself and not globally? Change the notifications to off, then on, change the ringtone, ect.

Didnt facebook just update today? Could be more than a coincidence...maybe a total uninstall and reinstall of FB itself. Both the app and the account under "accounts and sync"

Where are the ringtones stored, internal memory or External sd. I have several custom tones I use stored on the external sd and from time to time to time (especially after plugging and unplugging from the computer) the phone fails to mount the card and just puts on whatever tone it wants. Worth looking into.

This happen to me and it it came from a update of facebook. Once I
removed face book update and returned it to original factory it worked fine.
