Text to Speech Options?

Have the 7 LTE version w/TMob. sim. Was desperately looking for way to read aloud (text-to-speech) my notes. I've set up SVOX Classic TTS and INOVA Text 2 Speech. Most of time, cannot get a "read" aloud. Have tried all sorts of versions of word programs on android apps and also drop filing some MSWord files from my laptop. Also tried apps: My Binder and My Notebooks. The latter works on just two of the "notebooks" I set up in that app. Why the within-app inconsistency? And then only if I 'create' via direct input. No cut and pastes work. Also once in while, Rocket Player spontaneously starts playing one of my music files when I give a texttospeech command. What up? Any known EASY tried-and-true ways to read back own notes as texttospeech? Have spent waaaay to much time on this w/no luck. Thnks.

Have you looked at FBreader? If your notes can be saved in a PDF format, they have a TTS plugin that may work . . . i've not tried it though.
