Text With Photo Not Sending ???

I have had this problem multiple times and finally decided to see if anyone might have a solution to it. Text messages with just text sends fine, add a photo and it will not send.

Restarted Phone
Forced Stopped App
Cleared App Cache

Nothing seams to work. Any suggestions?

Which carrier are you on? Have you made sure the APN settings are correct for the carrier? https://www.androidcentral.com/what-apn-and-how-do-i-change-it

And check if your carrier allows mms. Also do you have chat enabled in Google messages?

Carrier is Verizon and it is an unlocked phone if that matters.

Are the APN settings the same as what's shown here? https://bestmvno.com/apn-settings/verizon-wireless-apn-settings/

Also, if you just switched from another phone, and if that other phone had RCS turned on, you need to turn RCS off before you make the switch: https://www.howtogeek.com/701714/ps...Features” menu,new device without any worries.

Try resetting network in settings?

B Diddy, my APN Setting are similar to the last set at the bottom of the article except for the following:
APN Roaming Protocol - IPv4 only
APN Enable/Disable - APN Enabled
Bearer - HSPA, GPRS, EDGE,eHSPAP, UMTS, LTE, HSPAR, HSDPA, NR, HSUPA

So it look like the photos are being received by the recipient, but my phone keeps saying "Sending" for over an hour.

Did you try clearing the Google Messages app data as well?

Try resetting the message app by clearing data and force stop it , (dont miss the force stop part)

So it looks like its working again. Not sure what fixed the issue, clearing cache, force stop, network settings, ... or if Verizon got their $hit back together.

At least in my area of northern NJ Verizon has had sporadic network issues due to the storm and all the rain. I had a situation where folks would text me and call but I'd never receive anything. It was isolated to a couple of contacts only, one of whom was my manager. Seems to have sorted itself out though. I guess I'm lucky it happened because he was trying to get me to work some extra hours on my day off.
