While in Samsung Notes, I can select and copy text, but it doesn't actually copy (onto the clipboard). Therefore, I can't paste anything I copy from Notes.

Copy and paste seems to work fine in all other apps. Any ideas? Thanks...

Scratch that last. I re read what you wrote.

I replicated your problem.

You have to turn off rich text. Tap the three dots in the upper right and select, "turn off rich text."

Update: I got it to work with rich text on too. You have to tap and hold for at least a second before the copy command pops up.

Thanks for your reply. I can get the "copy" to pop up. It's just when I copy (or cut), the text doesn't go to the clipboard and is therefore unavailable for pasting. Make sense?

Yes. What you are saying is that you select copy or cut, but it's not copying/cutting and therefore you can't paste it into another app.

What keyboard are you using? I'm using Swiftkey.

Correct. And I can't even paste it into the same app (Samsung Notes). I primarily use Swiftkey as well, but I use the Samsung keyboard when I'm in Notes for the handwriting recognition.

I used Samsung keyboard and I got it to work.

Try clearing the cache of your Samsung Notes app.

If that doesn't work then clear data for ClipboardSaveService and ClipboardUIService.

When that happen to me i just copy something different after that copy what realy want and paste. It works for me all the time.
