Texting freezes up

While writing a text it'll freeze mid sentence...I have to go out of text message (saves message as a draft)...return back to text with sentence half completed then finish and send. It is happening more and more as I text...issues and solutions anyone? Thanks!

Might be because you need to delete your messages. I'm not the biggest tech genius like most people on here but my phone has had issues similar to this and that's what I have done.
