I had Textra on my Sprint HTC One M7 and it was flawless with never a problem. I switched to T-Mobile last night and got the HTC One M8 and MMS won't work. Anyone experience similar problems? Anyone know a fix? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried the APN setting thing and it didn't work.

I'm only able to use stock messaging app when on Wifi to be successful in sending and receiving MMS messages. If I use third party, they only work when Wifi is disabled. Is anyone else experiencimg this on T-Mobile with the M8 or any other device?

I'm on Verizon and its the same thing for me. I can only send MMS with the stick app.

I have textra and I am on Verizon and can send and receive MMS on wifi and on data. Just tested it again to be sure and sent 2 one on wifi and one with wifi off my wife got both then i did the same from her iPhone to my m8 and I got both.

I have gone back and forth with both T-Mobile and textra support over this issue. I also switched from Sprint m7 to T-Mobile m8. Nothing worked. I can only send/receive MMS over WiFi with the stock app. Textra simply does not work.

Thanks for bringing this up, I hope someone has a solution.

Textra is working perfectly on my Verizon M8 as well.

When I had T-Mobile I did have issues with MMS and 3rd party apps unless I switched the WiFi calling setting to cellular preferred.

I saw something online that said you can set new APN settings and then be able to override this. Anyone ever try that? There is a video on YouTube that shows how.

Switch your WiFi calling to cellular preferred as Kouki says in the post above. I think, since you're on T-Mobile, it is a problem with WiFi calling.

Textra has been updated to work with T-Mobile Wifi calling enabled.

The only problem I've ever had was fixed by changing the maximum picture size to 300kb

Really? Or is it just enabling mobile data and going?

It allows you to enable Wifi calling but overrides it for MMS.

Wifi and forces it to send over mobile network. It's real quick that it shuts off Wifi.

Ah yeah that wouldn't work me sadly. I have to use wifi calling due to no data at my house. I just swap to the stock app if I need to send an MMS via wifi calling.
