Yep. You're wrong. Writing via the s-pen works just fine!

Textra is horrible with MMS. Sometimes it takes forever to send it.
I used Pulse Messaging. It's kinda like Textra except the MMS works

If you adjust the MMS settings on Textra you can fix this issue.

Change these two settings. MMS has been working perfectly for me in Textra on T-Mobile.

I had issues with MMS as well. (T-Mobile) I use INVI now. Very smooth, fast and clean.

I love Textra as well but for some reason on the Note 8 if you hit the "+" symbol you don't have options to attach pics from gallery, GIFs, etc. I believe it's been reported though and can see other N8 users have same problem from reviews on playstore

Anyone with an N8 seeing those options currently?

Can you do this if you are using Gboard keyboard? If so, how do you get the writing keyboard up?

This works for me and has been since Day 1. Maybe an update in the future will fix for all?

yes. there's a workaround until an update is released. now to see if I can find it.
