Is anyone else having issues sending texts with Textra since their recent update? I keep getting an error message saying my text failed but it's not all texts. I wasn't having this issue before they sent an update yesterday.

I've used Textra off and on for years. If you are having any issues with the app, I highly recommend contacting the app development team. I've done that a time or two and they always responded promptly and have helped me to solve the issue.

I was having this issue before the resent update. I convinced my wife to switch to Google Messages for RCS purposes. We both used Textra. Since switching we've had no problems. Even found out a few friends have RCS capabilities since the message bubble is a darker blue.
 
I emailed them and got an answer saying it's an at&t issue. One suggestion was to have at& t reset a switch or go into the att app and reset the connection server. The response wasn't much help to me because I have no idea what they are talking about.lol

Must only be in certain areas. I'm on AT&T and have had no issues with Textra.

I'm sorry about that! They have always been helpful when I've reached out to them. Carrier issues are complicated! Have you reached out to AT&T?

No I haven't reached out to att. Their service department has gotten worse since the pandemic started. I don't need the added frustration from talking to them.
 
Hey what about clearing data, force app stop the remove app. Power cycle your device then re-install app?
Removing the app will do the clear data and force stop so either way can go on that , reboot device definitely recommend.
 
Hey Sweeyypie , have you tried clearing data and force stopping Textra? Also try network reset if you haven't already.
I did the clearing of data, cache, and force stop. I also did a cache 0artition wipe just because.

How do I do a network reset?

I agree. Not worth it to involve AT&T with a third party app issue. They'd just say talk to the developer.

If it was Samsung's own Messages app, they might help since they are supposed to provide support for the device and it's stock apps. Even then, they'll still blame Samsung most of the time.
