Thank you V20... You were awesome, still are, but upgraded to V40.

Finally decided to upgrade to the v40 because the deal I've been waiting for finally hit. $15 month on sprint. So far I love it. I wouldn't write home to momma but so far it's reliable and lovely.

I chef the note but keep forgetting I need to stay away for a few models just to get away from Note 7 fiasco.

I hear you. I bought a coupla Note 9s on launch day from Costco via the BOGO offer. Switch my wife over immediately from a Droid Turbo 2 since she was always running out of system memory with an anemic 32gig onboard. Switching over to a Note 9 with 128gig *and* a memory card slot was all she needed.

Me? I continued using my V20 until March of this year when I finally switched things over. Keeping that V20. After dealing with the bootloop issue on an older V10, my V20 was rock solid for several years with nary a hiccup.
