Thanks a lot Verizon! Now what do i get!? Moto x?

Putting consumer benefit and software utility above specs and industry habits was a good call for Moto. Those who called the Moto X 'innovative' were right, and that's just as true of the decisions they made to produce the phone as it is of the software/hardware features they built.

Something about the moto x with its very thought out awareness of the user made it something special. When I returned it for the note it felt cold and unintuitive. I was seriously considering selling the note 3 to get my hands on a 32g moto x. It is that good.

As an owner of the htc one. I can tell you. That while i would love to have the moto x. i am honestly not sure if i could go without Boom sound. For me the fact i can light up a fairly large room with reach, clear sound. Is just about as valuable as any feature i have ever had on a phone. The screen is beautiful. The metal is amazing. But whatever you do. Put it in a case!!!<--- seriously i made the mistake of not doing so..and i now have a permanent ding in the back of my phone:/. However when you are at home..nothing quite like the feeling of the metal in your hand. But to be honest they are both such good phones..at this point i would say get the one YOU like most.Because in the end that is all that matters.

Beats is sweet, used it a lot on the One X. Good news is that you can get similar audio enhancement with the Moto X via audio effects.

FYI white G2 vzw coming to vzw around Nov 11. I played with moto X not a fan. HTC one nice phone but already 9months old just not worth it. With all phones out the G2 is a beast and King of specs & customizable os.

You bring up a good point with the customizable OS. If i were to go with the G2 i would root and flash Cyan. How do you like that setup?

The One's speakers are massive. The Moto X's speakers are tiny and rear facing. But don't let that fool you. My brother has the One and I have an X, and the speakers on the X are just as good if not better than my brother's One. It's quite comical, really, to see his massive One with those monstrous front-facing speakers going up against the tinny back-facing speakers on the X, yet you can't make out which phone produces the better sound. But don't take my word for it, watch this video by pocketnow comparing the phones and judge for yourself. Skip to about 8:40 in.

Moto X vs HTC One - YouTube

I wasn't expecting the Moto X speakers to be so good but they are.

I wouldn't bother with the Moto X. I'd get the Droid Maxx. It's a better phone with a bigger battery.

Thanks for your two cents! I even have been researching for a minute currently. i used to be extremely hoping that the LTE band within the N5 meant Verizon coverage. I even have a Droid X that was thanks to be place down a year past.

Searching is over! 32gb Moto X it is! Ordered and being delivered Saturday. Same color scheme as the Droid Life custom Moto X unboxing. Time to put the Droid X out to pasture. It was a good friend.

You should've got the Droid Maxx. It's a better phone.

So Verizon is not getting the Nexus 5. I have considered the LG G2 but cant get over the glossy back. (I dont like cases) Again Verizon screws me by not carrying the white version.
Not a fan of S4 touchwiz
I am torn. The next option is moto x AFTER moto maker becomes available. It seams to be loved by anyone who uses it. Is it worth getting smaller lower res display, and lesser performing camera on the moto x, or the speed demon G2? I would root the G2 for CMOD because i dont like LG's UI either.

HELP!!!

oh..really...my god, I just offered to it some one in a thread. Gotta change my answer
