The 1ii price cut coming

To be honest, I thing today's 4g phones are pretty fast enough for me. So I'm hoping that when the 1iii comes out, they'll be massive discounts on the 1ii. If so, I'll pull the plug.

I was thinking only yesterday, having read about the 10iii, how much more I’d be tempted by the tall Sony phones if they reduced the height by about a third.

I have the 1ii and an iPhone 12 Pro Max. I honestly don’t notice any difference in speed when I'm out and about. 5g is all hype IMHO. I'll be selling my pristine 1ii when I get the 1iii. I get great photos using the 70mm lens so I'm excited for the 105mm. I'm sure you'll find deals on new and used soon.

What carrier are you on? I'm on T-mobile. How are connections with calls and texts?

Im also on tmobile. Im in So Cal and have great coverage. Truth be told, for the past year I have mainly used wifi in my home, but recently have been going out more and connections have been perfect. Love this phone.

I tried 1 ii and the performance is top notch. Am really impressed with form factor and quickly got used to side sense. When its come to cameras below is my quick review.

It's a great camera for taking fast moving subject shots and almost all the shots are better than my note 10+. Being a user of Sony alpha cameras it was easy to use the camera in pro mode. The only things I don't like are lens flare with bright back light ( didn't expect this with Zeiss glass on top) and unimpressive performance in low light. And by the way, you can forget about front camera as it is not useable even for decent selfies.
