The absolute thinnest case i can buy is...?

Amazon.com: SAMSUNG GALAXY NEXUS CLEAR TPU GEL SKIN CASE, IN QUBITS RETAIL PACKAGING: Electronics

I just got the clear one of these from Amazon - $3.45 including shipping 2 day.

I have the Verizon Extended and it "almost" fits.

It leaves a very small part of the top unprotected - the rest is protected. It's light and feels good in the hand.

You can adjust the fit by putting it in and out.

I haven't decided if it's better than the VZW silicon case which fits like a glove in black but I may try it for a few days - the price is right.

Would have been perfect if a little more coverage and completely clear.

Also the case is VERY thin. I'm tempted to order a black one however I already have a black VZ case that is not thin but looks good and protects the device.

+ 1 I have this case with no extended battery and it is very slim. Comes with plugs for the charging and headphone ports but I took them out.

Which case are you talking about and will it fit the extended?

Sorry to bump an old thread but I'm looking for a very thin case as well. Did the OP find one that worked? I have a ZAGG shield for the screen and really I just want a thin case to protect from any scratches that may happen. I need very minimal protection but I don't like the feel of a skin so I don't want to o with that.

Edit: I also have the Samsung spare battery charger that I use daily so I would like the phone w/ case to be able to fit in the dock. Will the Incipio feather work for this purpose?

ringke slim looked good but not for the extended battery.

Slim works very well with extended battery. I have all three versions, The Black is only one I use the others don't have the rubbery grip to it and are way to slick for my personal taste. I honestly like the feel of the phone better with this case than without it, this is the best case I have ever had on any phone and I highly recommend It over the Incipio, Otterbox, Diztronic, CaseMate or any of the others I have tried.

I agree with this. Matte black Rearth slim is the best case ive found as well. Much better then any TPU ive tried. Adds very little to the phone, but still protects. Only negative i can report is the rubber caps for the charging/headphone port are easy to tear off if you grab it while taking a cord out. They are not connected with a large piece of rubber like the otterboxes are. First set went in a week, second ones are holding up now that i watch for it. It also removes from the phone easily and does fit well with the extended battery.

He took the words right out of my mouth. That's the best cases I've owned.

No question for the Galaxy Nexus the Matte Black Ringke Slim. I have two in Matte Black, one in white which I don't use because it's not matte, and a Galaxy S III matte black.

I don't make cases for the GN - just screen protectors. But for the S3 I have Ringke beat :D

When you put the phone face down on the Rearth, does the case stick out further than the screen to "block" it from touching.

This is one of the faults of the case.

It's higher than the glass on the top and bottom but the sides are lower.

But I would assume that if it is high on top/bottom, it would still raise the screen up to avoid it touching a table/whatever it is on. No?
