This really hurt. Gallbladder and Bile Duct cancer are one and the same. This is what my mom passed of. Very rare and I have been running a worldwide page since 2008 for this...:-(

I lost a close friend to bile duct cancer last year. Ironically a few months before I had bile duct surgery to remove some stones and a couple of months later had my gall bladder removed.

I'm so sorry for your loss. These two cancers used to be just labeled as GBC. It's a very cruel one indeed. Please keep up with Hida scans since it can still appear. I get my scans every 2 years myself. Pancreatic is the sister cancer as you know but this one by far is far too aggressive and not enough research to this day. You've seen something many haven't seen...:-(
