Today one of my kids tried to make a hot chocolate with the "hot water" option from the keurig. Unbeknown to them, there was still a coffee pod in the machine from the last coffee made (we use the reusable pods with our own grounds). So, the kid got a coffee tasting hot chocolate, obviously didn't like it, and then brought it to me instead of it going to waste. It was interesting but I enjoyed it as an afternoon chocolate-coffee.

That is what we call - in the early childhood education field, anyway - a happy accident! Coffee mixed with hot chocolate is good! But it was likely a bit different-tasting with the leftover grounds from before!

Sometimes you just have to use the cleanest dirty cup you can find. A little water & a paper towel and you are good to go.

This is my "Saturday morning walk" tumbler, and my German Shepherd just realized that I'm filling it. She's literally jumping 2 feet in the air. We haven't done our Saturday walk in a few weeks now due to various quarantines and weather. Needless to say she's excited
