The best kernal and rom setup

I new to flashing stuff and i don't know what is the best rom/kernal setup. I would rather have a sense based rom but i am willing to try anything

The best Sense Rom so far IMO is Synergy with 3.0 themes

As far as kernals go, there is no straight answer as every phone acts different with certain kernals.

For Kernels, dumpedduce said it. You'll just have to test them out to see what works with your phone best.
As of now, there are 3 to choose from for Sense.

Recharged comes with More Freedom and than there is Golden Monkey and the newest Chop Suey.

The best, hands down is MIUI with Tiamat 3.3.7, although Tiamat just released 4.0.8 which I'm gonna try today after I update to MIUI 1.9.2.

I've been running Synergy RC2 with god mode and it has been noticably less laggy between sleep and awake as well as going from portrait to landscape, which for me at least were noticable issues in the RC2 without GM. It's pretty stable, but I will say it boot looped on me twice out of nowhere and I had to go to recovery. That being said it is a powerful and functional ROM beyond what I thought I would get out of my EVO and the community supporting it is second to none. I'm going to give r3chargeD a run, as I've heard that is the other great 2.3/3.0 rom out there. Oh also running more freedom as kernel. Loving it long time.
