The bundled cable is really short

Is there an issue if I use a longer cable from my Note8 15w charger with the new 25w charger? Any downsides? Thanks all!

Depends on the cable. For 25W quality cables and first party ones should work, but for 45W you might run into issues.

The only issue might be that the new 25w charging brick is a Type-C port. That's why they include the USB-C to USB-C cable. Is your 15w charger a Type-C port?

Hi, guys. New user here but I had a question regarding this topic. Would this cord from Anker be good to use since it's USB C to C? And also, does this mean we aren't able to use any of the other chargers with previous phones, or will it just charge slower if we do? Thanks for the help!

Well, there's a Type-A to Type-C adapter in the box, but it won't charge as fast. Type-A cannot carry as much current as Type-C, so there would probably be no difference if you just used the S8 charger instead.

I have quite a collection of USB C cords some from Samsung devices and others from third-party typically stores like Walgreens Etc. They all work, though I'm thinking they may charge a little slower then the stock cord and wall charge setup that came with the Note 10 plus
