using the OP's math, how much does it cost to get married and have a wife?
(break the cost down by years/months/hours?)

Expensive because, no waterproofing, no sd card support, no wireless charging, no stereo sound on video camera and no OIS. Some are having a hard some justifying paying that much for the pixel.
Ah yeah so for current subscribers it's good but new cannot get that deal.YES - I have been with V for years - would be hard to get me to leave them.
I paid $649 on the 21st at the local store - saw no contract deals online than.
ETA - looks like the XLs will ship on 12/2 - no shipping dates for the Pixel - maybe they ship right away??

If the Pixel/,XL were priced $200.00 less people would still complain - it is what they do. "Priced too high" usually translates to "I can't afford it"

But can't you say that about other smartphones? I can look at the iPhone and say no headphone jack, no SD card slot, no full HD screen, out worked charging but it costs a premium price. I can go down the line and pick apart every smartphone. It's about the experience you get and what it is worth to you. Is he the Pixel worth it to me? Absolutely. I've used iPhones and Nexus phones for years. SD card slots aren't a priority. Neither is waterproofing. I've only had one smartphone that was waterproof and that was the Note 7. If I really needed it to be waterproof, I can buy a waterproof case. Wireless charging I can take it or leave it. But what I get in place of all of those things are valuable.Expensive because, no waterproofing, no sd card support, no wireless charging, no stereo sound on video camera and no OIS. Samsung phones come with much more to justify the price. The price of the Pixels isn't justified. If Samsung phones can cost this much don't see the problem in Pixel costing that much. If you have issues about pricing across iPhones, Samsung and Pixel then that's reasonable. But if you have issues just on Pixel pricing then that's just crazy.

You can disagree that the Pixel isn't worth the price, but you can't disagree that the Samsungs don't come with far more that justifies their price. That is an objective fact.I have bought many Samsung phones and also other manufactures. Having used the Pixel I disagree and think it is justified.
