Since I spend about an hour day travelling in hoping I hear a difference with AUX as well. Just switching from Spotify basic to premium was noticable so maybe this will be too.

Does the DAC enabled sound work/sound better with aux cable hooked up through the car or a receiver just through headphones?

I'm comparing it to my S7e this morning and gotta be honest, the S7e with the UHQ upscaler sounds really nice with nice detail and a deep low end. It may not be as detailed as the V20 but bass heads would likely prefer. The sound stage is wider on the V20 but there are no complaints with the S7e, it's sounds durned good.

No DAC but If you have aptX compatible Bluetooth headphones you will be able to take advantage of that with the V20 and notice a difference for sure.
