...is highly annoying. I understand the need to advertise on the site, but the constant pop-up of this ad as you navigate the forums makes the forum experience less than pleasurable. One should only have to close it once, not on every page or on every thread.

Hoo. we shouldn't be getting pop up ads.. If you see it again please take a screenshot and email it to me directly - dieter@androidcentral.com
i used to not get it, now i get it on every single page that loads...i already own a droid and dont want another!
Guys, we are aware it is there. It should not be happening all of the time and when it does it should not stay longer than a few seconds. If it does stay for you please let us know.

Correct and so far on my end this is true. If it still is popping up constantly for anyone I would say clear your cache and delete your cookies.
