I miss the "bread crumbs" at the bottom of the forums post

So, I used to be able to read a forum and at the bottom of the post/responses, you had a "bread cumb" that told you where you were and you can click to go back.

That has been recently removed and now, in order to go back to the forum page, especially when I am several pages deep in a topic, I have to scroll all the way back to the top of the post to see the links and go back from there.

Anyway we can get this back?

Doesn't it show at the top of the page now? Or am I missing something?

I believe the issue is that you have to go all the way to the top of the page (which can be a lot if it's a long thread) in order to see it, rather than having it at the bottom of the thread (where the user is more likely to be while reading the latest post or working on a response).

This is a little inside baseball for most folks but alas. I would love to put them back however, as a website on the Internet which relies on Google and their SEO tactics we've had to remove them because Google hates them. We're looking for alternative design ways to get them back that won't hurt our Google rankings.

I'm using Brave Browser to access the forums on an Android tablet... for me, if I move the screen slightly, I momentarily get arrows on the right side that will fast track me to the top or bottom of the page, no scrolling needed 👍

It seems to do a decent job of making up for the removal of the site string at the bottom. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The forum website on the desktop Chrome browser should also have an up arrow at the lower right that allows you to jump to the top of the screen quickly. A workaround, but not a perfect solution.
I have not used Chrome for years, so I guess I missed that.

Thanks all! I just really wanted to post my thought on this. Not sure what the real point was, but it was a thought of the moment. I'll just deal with it until something can be done. :D
