The DxO score for the OP5 is 87

The points are just scaling a set of measurements on a 1 to 100 scale, so each category is a set of measurements. They aren't able to just arbitrarily award points or deduct points.
I know. I was trying to say that the lack of OIS should have resulted in less scores in some categories which would have pushed to lower scores.

Oh ok, yeah it seems like their software is somehow making up for the stabilization.

I think 87 is a good score, especially since they are heavily marketing themselves based off of their camera, from what I've seen anyway.

I think 87 is a tad high. I would still be happy with an 85 or 86. I feel that the OP5 samples were a little inconsistent.

Not a bad camera at all, but being at the same level of the excellent Huawei P10 at score-level is a bit of a stretch.

Then again, we shouldn't be looking at the averaged overall score but where it scored in individual sections.

Its just a number at this point. One should not take these numbers too seriously.
