the earphones have been connected to my phone now I cannot hear anything

Somehow the earphones have been connected to my phone (samsung s 4 mini) and now I cannot hear anything.

Hello! Welcome to Android Central! Do you mean that you don't have headphones plugged in, but your phone thinks you do? Have you tried putting headphones in and then taking them out? Have you tried restarting your phone?
