The elusive FaceBook Chat option battery drain....

Hey all,

I always forget about this, but when I find my battery mysteriously draining faster than usual, I (sometimes) remember that in the official FaceBook app, under chat, there is the option to "Go Offline." After clicking this, all seems well.

Any thoughts? Is this all in my head?

Sorry to be the bearer of yes, it's all in your head - but yes, it is all in your head. I've always "go offline" after done using chat. Battery drains all the same. We need better battery to accommodate these awesome devices. The flatter / smaller they make these devices, the lesser the battery life seems to be. Smh!
