but does it output any other way?

Like if my tv only has RCA jacks (red white yellow)

also would like to shoot it out to my screen in my truck
of course the flip out screen doesnt have HDMI

No it does not. The Video camera on the phone shoots video in HD format 720p to be exact and if you only have RCA jacks on your tv that means you don't have an HDTV.--Probably time to upgrade the TV homie...

Or not. Who would really use this at home? DVR, Bluray, why would I want to watch a video from my phone?
I see this being useful away from home. Most TVs have RCA jacks accessible easily. Not the same with HDMI that I've seen.

Thanks a million for these links!!! I've been wondering how I was going to do this. I too want to HDMI out to RCA plugs. Still have to figure out how to go from micro/mini HDMI to HDMI to RCA. With the upcoming slingplayer app for Android, I'll be watching DirecTV from the DVD player (via RCA inputs) in the back of the van as momma (the wife) drives us where we need to go. HDMI out will also make it much easier to get DirecTV to my tailgate parties before college ball this fall. PLEASE don't block video out from Slingplayer app, please!!!! =) Any other suggestions welcomed.

If I understand your question correctly, all you need is a 3.5 stereo jack to RCA. The audio output should be controllable from the menu in the phone. Just turn off HDMI audio and use it as if you had headphones in. That would give you HDMI out with analog audio.

I do have a big screen TV at my house, i play PS3 in 1080p on it(some games, but most 720p)

But since this is a PHONE im going to be mobile with it and thinking about using it other places I go, and of course you cant count on everybody else having a HDMI tv.

I most likely will very rarely use it at home, looking to use it on the go, or in my car. So they have HDMI flip out screens now? If so then yeh I guess I need to upgrade that. But unless they have blue-ray indash car players then not sure of the need for a HDMI screen. Ive had my regular DVD player screen for about 4 years so havent looked into that HD technology yet

I can see this being a replacement to the Flip camera which would be pretty sweet.

You can not use an ADAPTER. Composite input is analog, hdmi is digital out. You will need a converter between the phone and tv!

Analog / Digital Format Converters
