Just what I need, my "TV", an unsecured streaming box having access to Home controlled devices.

How many people are honestly going to use this? "Hey everyone, let me pause real quick, or put an overlay over the movie so I can adjust the temperature".

Just what I need, my "TV", an unsecured streaming box having access to Home controlled devices.

Clearly not what YOU need. My family and I have tried the new GH on GTV feature a number of times in the week or so we've had it on our TCL TV, to turn on/off lights and adjust temps on our Nest thermostat, because we happened to be on the landing screen and found it extremely useful. Another friend just discovered it this week and has set up their favorite GH devices just to have access on their GTV.

It's not a feature that I would've asked for...but it's a nice-to-have nonetheless. And no more disruptive than yelling at one of the smart speakers (more often than not a frustrating experience of its own) to turn on a light, or when, y'know, you pause the movie to go take a leak or freshen your Cheetos supply.
