With all of these "cracked screens", "I dropped my phone from standing height", and "holy **** holy **** holy **** holy **** what do i do" threads....I thought it would be pertinent to shed some light on the OTHER side of droid incredible users. Hence...the Dinc Hall of Fame.

Who of you out there have not dropped your incredible yet, and have treated this puppy like a newborn baby? I personally have zero fumbles (drops) after ownership of one season (month). I'm sure some of you have fumbled but recovered successfully (no damage), while some of you have lost the fumble (has more cracks on it than a street corner in Harlem)... but a fumble is a fumble so be honest. Adrian Peterson-like (repeat offenders of destruction) phone owners need not respond.

I dropped mine once in a month of ownership. As I was approaching a front door, juggling a portfolio, laptop bag, car keys and my DInc. The DInc slipped. Headed straight to the concrete pavers and Like Stephen Strasburg on opening night, it curved to the mulch with no damage.

Good times.

I've dropped mine three times with the whole trying to hold on to too much stuff situation. All three times where pretty decent licks from waist to shoulder height. Landed on tile twice and concrete once. Not a scratch on it. I've got the Droid Robo-Inc-Cop. "Put it down a**hole" (Sorry one of my favorite lines on the movie.)

Just as a side note, since I got my case/holster combo I haven't dropped it since. Maybe you take better care of it once you have a case, subconscious level of thought there? hummm.

Perhaps it is my OCD but I think of a line from Ferris Bueller..."he never drives it he just rubs it with a diaper." Seriously this phone though is babied. I just love it.

Never dropped or fumble once after a month of use. I too treat this like a newborn baby. I work from 8:30am-9:00pm, so this Inc is my best friend throughout the day until I finally get home to the family.:)

No drops yet either :) but now that I said that its going to slip out of my hands this weekend :(

No drops here either (about 9 days in), although it's just a matter of time. Right now it's nekkid in a suede pouch, and I love the way it looks so I'm planning to keep it that way. Living dangerously, I know.

+1 on the OCD. I have been avoiding using the phone completely if I'm on the sidewalk or on asphalt. If I really need to check something, I'll step over to the grassy strip and stand there. It's helping my battery life since I won't use it without proper reconnaissance on the surroundings.

I've had the phone since launch (pre-ordered on the first day) I dropped it once (onto asphalt) while getting out of the car with too much crap in my hands. It bounced off a corner and landed on its back. No damage that I could see at the time, but I think I may have scratched my camera lens a little. It could have been a lot worse.

I don't know about any of you....but 99% of my previous phone drops come from using my phone in the car, setting the phone on my lap and forgetting about it, leading to a launching of the phone once I spring out of the car. However since getting the incredible I borderline molest myself searching for the phone to make sure that it isn't anywhere on my lap/between my legs.

I will drop it eventually....we all will it's just part of having a phone...lol. But for now I am flawless baby

3 weeks and 0 drops/fumbles. I'm sure it might happen once in the future, so I'll keep the case on & my fingers crossed in the meantime! (Actually, I have the Best Buy protection plan, so what am I worried about?!?!?)

No drops so far. Crossing my fingers that this trend continues. However, in previous drops with my phones they've always come out undamaged. I only got a small nick on my Storm 2 screen that was only noticeable with a white screen, and this was from keys.

I personally have no drops or fumbles. That said, I do have a future gadget freak that I'm raising, a 14 month old "built like a brick $&%@house" of a boy. He saw me talking on the phone one morning, and had to have it...so he cried until I let him play with it. I was wincing the whole time...and for good reason! He took the phone, set it on his favorite fire truck push toy (we all know where this is going...at least us with kids) and of course, my pristine piece of technology perilously fell to the ground. Short fall on a hard wood floor...no need to panic right? WRONG!!! My lil tot then stepped ont he phone (accidentaly I'm sure) and did a little slip on it...thus moving the phone across the floor with great speed and pressure...screen down nonetheless. Now I have two hairline scratches on the LCD...guess I should have kept my invisishield on!! OOPS!

Ok, now everyone can start pointing and laughing at me like Nelson from the Simpsons!

Dropped mine once, thought my heart jumped out my chest! Lucky me, only got two little scratches on the corner.

I had my incredible out at a USA soccer tune up game recording video, started recording at the perfect time right as USA scored a goal, the crowd went crazy and of course the guy in front of me threw his hands back and knocked the phone right out of my hand and it dropped down some bleachers. I had the verizon holster case combo and im proud to say not a scratch on it.

hahaha....i must have dont that about 75 times.

One drop... It was in the bathroom headed for the tile, and I watched in slow motion as it tumbled on a heap of clothes :)

According to the boyfriend, I love it more than I love him, so it's in a protective case and glued to my hands.

never let kids touch it

Isn't that the truth! I am still waiting on my Incredible, but I have an Omnia now, and my son got a hold of it, and decided to play baseball with it, chucked it with all his might, smacked into the door jam, and actually BENT. It had a visible arch to it, and acted super crazy. Thankfully I sent it in for warranty and was able to get it fixed. But keeping my incredible away from my kids for sure!
