The home button on my s6edge just quit working?

The fingerprint recognition still works but I tapping the home screen nothing happens I cant even wake my phone up? Any Ideas

Welcome to Android Central! I assume you mean that when you tap the Home button (not screen), nothing happens? Does it feel like it clicks all the way down? If you're using an app and press the Home button, it doesn't take you back to the homescreen?

Since it's pretty new, bring it back to the store and ask for a replacement, or contact Samsung for warranty service.
