The htc one weather app is terrible.

It's always off. And even worse the temp displayed never matched the apps temp. I really wish htc didn't force me yo use this weather app. Accuwearher doesn't seem as accurate as weatherbug. I. Installed weatherbug for the status bar weather. Much better. And actually accurate.

Wait, the weather app's temp never matches the app's temp? What are you trying to say?

I use weatherbug, too, and just removed the stock widget from the home screen, and used the WB widget instead. It's not like htc is forcing you to use Accuweather.

The things people find to complain about..... If you don't like a stock app, there are usually 5, or 10, or 100 replacements for it in the Play Store.

Accuweather works just fine for me. Given the choice, as a standalone weather app I prefer Weatherbug as well, but since I absolutely LOVE the design of the stock HTC One widget (I think it's the greatest widget ever... simple, clean, aesthetically pleasing, perfect choice of colours and space efficient).. I'm fine sticking with Accuweather since I don't really need all the bells and whistles and it does everything I need (current, hourly, forecast).

How are the calendar/time widgets on Weatherbug?

I actually liked the stock weather app enough to not use any other weather apps. It has all the info I want within easy reach, and the widget is awesome.

I'd rather use The Weather Channel app and widget, but AccuWeather was always accurate and spot on. Here in North Texas we may have all seasons in a day and that can get confusing for a weather app.

I actually like the look and feel of it. And for my general purposes, it's accurate enough and works just fine.

AccuWeather has a horrible app. Always messes up, always get a "weather not available," and sometimes it won't even get my location. HTC needs to add some variety in weather app choices.

Is there actually anything that you DO like about this phone?

This link should fix the temp issue in Accuweather along with most of the other issues you seem to keep finding with the One

Please I'd love to know how you remove the stock weather from the blinkfeed screen and the lock screen. And yes if you open the app up. The weather at let's say 1pm with in the app will not match what the lock screen says at 1pm. I'm just saying. I really wish htc didn't force some of these things upon their customers.

I like everything about the phone but some of the things I've listed with in these forums. I think I have a whole 3-4 complaints. Oh no!!!! I'm sorry I can't make believe things I purchase are perfect. Thanks for keeping track though. But I do love the phone and thanks for the link that was hilarious.

Use a different lock screen app. Don't use blinkfeed. Use some other widget for quick access to weather. Problem solved?

I like blinkfeed. Lol. I can't stop using that. Honestly the app was 15 degrees off all day today. But whatever ill work around it. Just wish it wasn't forced upon me.

that's because the Hourly is a forecast [prediction(guess)]

and what's on the widget is what it really is.

I'm glad you saw the funny side, honestly didn't mean any harm.

If you try a different launcher (I reccomend Nova) then you have a lot more control over your screen layout and you can still run blinkfeed as an app when you want it. There is a great guide buried in thus forum somewhere but a quick search should throw it up for you.

I like Weather bug also, and I have HD widgets which uses weather bug. How do you replace the stock weather on the lock screen or blinkfeed page on the HTC one?
Thanks

You didn't say the widget never matches the app..... Anyway, this is probably because you have the widget to update infrequently, but as soon as you open the app IT updates immediately and gets the most current temp. If the widget update frequency is set to 1 hour, the temp showing on the widget could be as much as 59 minutes old. You can, I suspect, set the widget to update more frequently, at the expense of battery life. That's not a bug. Having the widget update in real time would kill your battery, and then you'd complain about that.

I'd love to use a new weather app and widget, but I love using Blink Feed. Having two separate temps showing in different places is annoying.
